The funeral of Mrs. Harriet A. E. Turner took place at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church on Saratoga near Gay Streets, on Sunday afternoon. Services were conducted by Rev. J. Albert Johnson , pastor of St. John's A.M.E. Church. Others who took part were Rev. L. M Beckett, Rev Charles H. Young P. E., Rev G. W. Nicholas, Rev John Hurst, Rev. J. A. Johnson, Rev. B. F. Watson and Rev. Gaines, Pastor. Bishop Handy delivered the eulogy. Interment in Laurel Cemetery. The Baltimore Afro American, January 20, 1906
