Born about 1602, (deposed 26 January 1674[/5] aged seventy-three years). (He also deposed 2 March 1663 aged fifty years. This would make him only seventeen when he arrived in New England, at which time he had already been a member of one of the independent churches of London; this seems too young, and there may be a simple scribal error of "50" for "60.") Gunsmith who came from London to Massachusetts Bay in 1630.
First settled in Boston; then Braintree, & finally Boston by 1653. Died between 9 June 1676 (date of will) and 26 April 1677 (probate of will).
