Mrs. Lillian Fair

Last rites for Mrs. Lillian Nail Fair, 83, were held at New Haven Church on October 26, at two o'clock with Dr. H. L. Martin of Senatobia Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. John Sutphin of Kilmichael Methodist Church, conducting the services. Interment was in the church cemetery with Lee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Sam Pearson, V. L. Henderson, N. J. Bridges, Milton Brown, Roy Chamblee, John Tabor, Walsy Crenshaw and Dewitt Mitchell.

Mrs. Fair was born on July 18, 1867, at Noxubee. She was married on November 2, 1892, to John Mintor Fair who preceded her in death on May 21, 1821. She was a member of the New Haven Baptist Church. She passed away at the Kilmichael Clinic on October 24.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Golda Watson, Weir, Mrs. Neutel Stowers, Kilmichael, one stepdaughter, Mrs. Annie Reel, Schlater, and three sons, Joe Fair, Ruleville. H. H. Fair, Senatobia, W. D. Fair, Batesville.

She also leaves one sister, Mrs. F. O. Nunn, Tutwiler, one brother, H. D. Nail, Batesville, and eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
