On Thursday, the 27th of February, at the home Mr. Oren Long, about four miles southwest of Carlisle, occurred a very quiet wedding.
Miss Iva J. Long and Mr. E. K. Albright were united in marriage by Rev. H. S. Basom, of Carlisle. The guests were Mr. Long, father of the bride; Mr. and Mrs. S. S. Albright, parents of the groom; Howard, Jay and William, brothers of the bride; Effie, Otis, Ray, Esther and Francis, brothers of the groom; Mrs. A. R. Mountz, Miss Mabel Rachman, Mr. George V. Line, Miss Lizzie Ruhl, Miss Dollie Myers, Mrs. William Myers, Mrs. H. S. Basom and Miss Mary Burd. Alter the wedding the married couple left for Thompsontown, Juniata county (sic), where they will spend a few days with relatives of the bride.
Upon their return they will take up their residence near Salem Church about four miles east of Carlisle. They have the best wishes of a large number of friends.

Ernest K. Albright, 59, farmer, died Wednesday at his home in Middlesex township following a brief illness. He was an active member of the Methodist Church at Hickorytown where for 25 years he served as a teacher in the Sunday school.
Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Iva Long Albright; these brothers and sisters, Otis Albright of Mt. Holly Springs, Ral Albright, Mrs. George V. Line and Miss Effie Albright, all of West Pennsboro township, and Francis Albright of South Middleton township.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Lutz funeral parlors, Carlisle. Burial was made in the Mt. Zion cemetery (sic), near Churchtown.
