B. H. Slusher is Dead at 67; Services Today
NORMAN (Bureau) – Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday here for Benjamin Harrison Slusher, 67- year-old retired barber, who died at his Neosho, MO., home Christmas day of a heart condition. He was a former Norman resident.
Slusher had lived in Neosho for about 15 years after living in Norman for 15 years where he worked as a barber. He was born Jan. 16, 1889, in Harrisonville, MO.
Services will be in the Primrose funeral chapel, with burial in the IOOF cemetery north of Norman.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Slusher, of the home; five sons, Jerry, of the home, Hubert and Jacky Slusher of Oklahoma City, and Leo and Harold Slusher of California; two daughters, Flossie and Betty, both of Oklahoma City, and four step-sons, W. R. Hagood, Oklahoma City; Thomas J. Hagood, Norman; Ed Hagood, Neosho; and Robert Hagood, San Diego, Calif.
Three brothers, Albert Hagood, Neosho; William E. Hagood, Oxford, La; and John L. Hagood, Oklahoma City; and five sisters, Mrs. Opal Griffin, Stratford; Mrs. Bernice Tarwater, Ada; Mrs. Minnie Aldridge, Modesto, Calif. Mrs. Donna Miller, Whipmond, Texas, and Mrs. Leslie Holt, Anadarko.
