ANNA BAERT

Anna Baert, 87, 725 E 8th died at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. She had been in ill health for about two years and entered the hospital on Jan. 8.

She was born in Rich Hill, Missouri, moved to Pittsburg as a child an lived here most of her life. She married Victor Baert in July 1906. He died 17 Dec 1972 in Pittsburg.

Mrs. Baert was a member of the first Christian Church, the order of Eastern Star, Royal Neighbors and the Navy Mothers. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary Hand of 1913 South Taylor, and Mrs. Bernadine Morrisey Of Plesanton; five sons, Albert Baert of Christmas Valley, Ore., Jack Baert of 717 E. 8th, Robert Baert of Klamath Falls, Ore., Richard Baert of 712 E. 8th, and Donald Baert of Kansas City, Kansas; 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Clarence Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Bath Funeral Home.
