Mrs. Gertrude Miller Answers Call of Creator Following Lingering Illness of About Two Years

At the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William Hodorff 4 miles southwest of Buckman, occurred the death of Mrs. Gertrude Miller on Saturday morning at 4:50 o'clock. She was 77 years of age. The aged lady was in ill health for about two years and since last June she had been confined to her bed. A stroke caused her death on Saturday.

On March 17, 1852, Gertrude Kelzenberg was born at Koeln, Germany. When 17 years of age, the Kelzenberg family came to America when they settled at Michagan, Wis. After spending a year there, they came to this county and settled at Buckman.
