Mrs. Hilda Myers, 81, Circleville, died Friday in a Topeka hospital after a short illness.


She was born March 17, 1884 at Ridgely, Mo., and had lived in the Circleville and Soldier communities the past 70 years. She was a member of the Christian Church and Order of Eastern Star, both at Circleville.


Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Erma Hamlin and Mrs. Lela Shupe, both of Circleville, and Mrs. Edna Baker, Eskridge; three sons, Ross Myers, Morton, Wash., Harold Myers, Leavenworth, and Carl Myers, Hutchinson; a sister, Mrs. Rebecca Cochrell, Holton; five brothers, Frank Chrisman, Jefferson, Ore., John Chrisman, Missouri, Spencer Chrisman and Nelson Chrisman, both of Holton, and Carl Chrisman, Lexington, Neb.; 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.


Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Christian Church at Circleville. Burial will be in Soldier Cemetery. Mercer Funeral Home at Holton is in charge of arrangements.
