Medina Co. Gazette - April 19, 1889: At her home in Medina, Tuesday night, April 16, 1889, Mrs. Ann Babcock, aged about seventy nine years. The funeral will take place on Friday at 2 o'clcok p.m. at the house. Mrs. Babcock was one of the oldest residents of the village. She came here with her husband fifty five or fifty six years ago, and has lived here and in this icinity ever since. She had nine children, seven of whom still live. She was a woan greatly respected for her many good qualities of mind and heart, and her death will bring sorrow to a large number of friends.
