Jack was born on September 5, 1918, in Effingham, Kansas, to Jack Martin and Grace Edna (Bonnel) Woodard. On January 10, 1948, he married Anne Rita (Juroshek) at the Episcopal church in Sheridan. Their union was blessed with one daughter. Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, and baking for friends. He had a love of horses and his two dogs. He was a life long member of the Elks.
Mr. Woodard was preceded in death by his wife, Anne; his brother Earl; and his parents. He is survived by his daughter Karen Woodard of Sheridan; several sister-in-law's, brother-in-law's, nieces, and nephews; and his two companions, Willy and Tuffy.
Visitation will be held at Kane Funeral Home on Monday, July 21, 2003 from 7:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at 10:00a.m at Kane Funeral Home with The Reverend Ron Stolcis officiating. Interment will follow in the Elks Cemetery. Kane Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
The family has requested that memorials be made in Jack's name to the Elks Cemetery Fund in care of Kay Roush, First Federal Bank, P.O. Box 6007, Sheridan, WY 82801.
