Arnold E. Ahring, 87, of O'Fallon, Ill., born Oct. 20, 1918, in Caseyville, Ill., died Saturday, April 15, 2006, at Cedar Ridge Healthcare Center, Lebanon, Ill.
Mr. Ahring was a resident of Charles Gardens for several years. He was a World War II Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Frederick and Anna M., nee Braksick, Ahring; two brothers, Benjamin (Jean) Ahring and Lester Ahring; and a sister, Frieda (Roy) Kombrink.
He is survived by a brother, Hubert (Leona) Ahring of O'Fallon, Ill., Mildred (Edward) Kimmle of O'Fallon, Ill., and Delores (Jim) Klingelhoefer of Mascoutah, Ill.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill., with the Rev. Jack Spratte officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
