"Mrs. Elizabeth Baltar Grant, 87, a native of New Orleans, and Biloxi resident 66 years, died at 3:30 a.m. today at Howard Memorial Hospital where she had been since March 12 following an illness of 17 years. Mrs. Grant was a member of Church of Nativity. Mrs. Grant is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Henry B. Curtis, New Orleans and two sons, William J. Grant Jr. and Judge Leslie B. Grant of Biloxi; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was the widow of William J. Grant Sr., longtime Biloxi druggist, who died in 1932. The funeral will be at 3:30 Friday afternoon from Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home followed by services at Church of Nativity. Interment will be in Biloxi Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today. There will be a rosary at 8 o'clock this evening at the funeral home".
