Henry Calvin Easler raised Aunt Ange, he was not her biological father. His nephew, Mitchell Blanton Easler, left her mother pregnant, when he went off to fight in the Civil War, and died. When Uncle Cooty (Henry Calvin Easler) came back from the war, he raised the little girl. This comes from several sources in my family, including and especially my grandfather, Luther Blanton Easler, so I believe it to be true. John Easler
