Mrs Hatcher, 100, to Be Buried in N.Y.

Funeral services for Mrs Robert A Hatcher, 100, niece of a Revolutionary soldier and widow of a "tragic era" Congressman from Missouri, were held yesterday at the Methodist Home, Connecticut Avenue and Ellicott Street Northwest. Burial will be in Glens Falls, NY today.

Mrs Hatcher, who celebrated her 100th birthday June 13, died at the home on Tuesday. Born in Clyde, NY, she came to Washington in 1867 to marry Mr Hatcher who was then starting the first of his three terms in Congress. Later she lived in Charleston, Mo, until her husband's death and returned to Washington about 40 years ago. She had been at the Methodist Home for 14 years.

At her birthday celebration last June, Mrs Hatcher recalled seeing former Chief Justice Hughes wheeled about the streets of Glens Falls in his baby carriage. A message of congratulations from the Chief Justice and his wife were among those that she received on the anniversary.

Only one of her four children, Mrs B C Tiffany, of Chevy Chase, Md, survives her.
