Funeral services for Mayme O. "Dink" BYNUM, 86, of Sallisaw will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Vian with the Rev. Vernon Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born on April 21, 1917, in Jerusalem, Ark., to Henry Stanton SPEARS and Elizabeth Florrie JONES. She died on Monday, March 1, 2004, in Sallisaw. Survivors include one son, Bob; two daughters, Dee Ann and Susan; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Chloe Mae; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tullie Ray BYNUM on March 9, 1982; one son, Capt. Neil S. BYNUM, USAF; three sisters, Elsie, Ola and Marge; three brothers, Les, Jesse and Junior; and one son-in-law, Phillip PARKS.
