MO death cert. #19691
Mrs. Mollie E. Conner, daughter of Francis M. and Mandy Fleming, of Clear Springs, Texas County, Mo., was born the 12th day of December, 1885. After a long and continuous sickness of over twelve months of that dreaded disease, tuberculosis, God called her from her suffering on the 14th day of July, 1921, making her age at time of death 35 years, 7 months and 2 days.
She was united in marriage with Rolla Conner at the age of 17 years. To this union were born three children, two girls and one boy, who survive her. Her husband and companion preceded her by about 14 years to try the realities of an unseen world.
Sister Conner professed a hope in Christ at the age of 16 years and united with the Fair View church, of which she was a member at time of death. Her faithfulness in God's service blossomed into eternal bliss and glory where there is no sickness, sorrow, anguish or pain forever. As she stated on her death bed, she was prepared and willing to go.
Her father preceded her one year, lacking 11 days. By God's kind providence her mother still survives to instruct and console the three children left in a cold world without father or mother. May God's blessings rest upon them.
Seven brothers and three sisters survive her; two brothers and three sisters preceded her to their reward.
Funeral services were conducted at Fair View church by the writer and the remains were laid to rest in the presence of a large crowd of sorrowing relatives and sympathizing friends, who paid their last tribute to the deceased in return for the noble life and example she had set before them.
1st Corinthians 15 ch 55th v.--
"O! Death where is thy sting?
O! Grave, where is thy victory?"
