The cemetery site contains the headstones and remains of Peter Henry (aka Hinrik Carstensen - P.H.C.) Claussen, his second wife Clara W., first born son Henry Magnus and daughter-in-law Alice Julia (nee PETERSON) in one fenced area. Peter Henry (P.H.C.) Claussen, a German immigrant dairyman, provided oversight for the historic Alphabet Ranches established in the late 1800s on the Point Reyes Peninsula. Mr. Claussen lived at the G Ranch, one of the first ranches to be completed in 1872.
