Funeral of Ottawa Citizen Tomorrow Afternoon

Mrs. Levina Ellen Adamson, wife of Ellis M.[sic] Adamson, well known resident here for about 30 years, died Saturday night at 7:30 o'clock at the home, 623 South Hickory Street. She had been in failing health several years and seriously ill two weeks. Death resulted from chronic heart trouble.
The deceased was 69 years old. Levina A.[sic] Bennett was born April 10, 1862 in Knoxville, Iowa, the daughter of Hiram and Rosanna (McVey) Bennett. She was married there to Mr. Adamson September 14, 1882. The husband, two daughters and four sons survive. The children are Mrs. L. E. Burgess, E. H. Adamson, C. C. Adamson and Mrs. M. M. Adamson all of Ottawa; M. E. Adamson, Detroit, Mich. and F. D. Adamson of Battle Creek, Mich. The following are brothers of Mrs. Adamson: J. H. Bennett, Des Moines, Iowa; M. E. and John Bennett, Knoxville, Iowa and C. J. Bennett, Lansing, Michigan. The Adamson family moved here thirty years ago from Iowa. Mrs. Adamson was a member of the Oakland M. E. Church.
