Mary Lorena was born Nov 8, 1926, in Johnsville, Erath County, to Joseph Carlton and Jimma Jane Parnell. The family moved to Stephenville, and following high school she moved to Fort Worth, where she married Odis Paul Riney on Dec. 22, 1945. She worked for Montgomery Ward as receiving record clerk for 47 years, retiring in 1993.
She was preceded in death by Odis, her husband of 55 years.
Survivors: Children, Robert Lee Riney and his wife, Denise, Evelyn Murphey, and Richard Paul Riney and his wife, Sandy; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
