Alexander,Son of Michael. Married Sarah Ann Gregory, born 1833-d1892. Both Alexander and Sarah were born in Canada. Alexander settled in Sparta, Michigan in 1859 from Chatham, Ontario. Alex and Sarah were among the old pioneers. They were among the first settlers to fell the trees and draw the logs to the "rollway" and clear the land around Indian and Squaw Lakes.

At the time of her death, she had been married for 20 years and 6 of 7 children were still living, along with her husband of 18 years.

Electa Traxler Christy. 1859 – April 14, 1899. Died April 3rd, 1909. Married for 18 years, 2 children of 3 still living upon her death, along with her husband. She died of Gallstones. Buried in Myers Cemetery.
