"Mr. W. T. Edwards, of Millican, Tex., died here on Saturday night at the residence of Judge W. T. Abbott, of Bright's Disease. Deceased was a brother of Mrs. Abbott and uncle of H. P. Edwards, of this city. He came here a few weeks ago from Arizona, hoping to obtain relief from a course of the waters, but his disease had made too much progress. He was buried with Masonic honors and his funeral was largely attended. His relatives have the sympathy of the community."
