Anna Chesteen Vervack, 80, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Friday, March 27, 2009 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was a retired supervisor for Central Supply at Sparks Medical Center, and a registered nurse. She was a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church, and order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jules "Curly" Vervack and parents Ed and Jewell Caughman.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Fentress Mortuary Chapel with burial at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.

She is survived by two daughters: Vicki Route and her husband Paul of Barling, Arkansas and Sherri Vervack and her husband Ronnie Lewis of Alexandria, Virginia; one son: Joe Vervack and his wife Debbie of Fort Smith, Arkansas; one sister: Bonnie and her husband Jim Thompson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two grandchildren: Tisha Picard of Fort Smith and Eric Route of Van Buren; three great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Joe Vervack, Jim Smith, Gary Thompson, Jim Thompson, Eric Route, and Ronnie Lewis.
