Services Held for Mary Duncan
Funeral services were held Friday, March 30 in Davenport for Mary Ella Duncan, who died Wednesday, March 28 in Davenport at the age of 85.
A lifelong resident of this county, Mrs. Duncan was born in Mondovi June 24, 1893 to George and Mary Smith, who farmed in the Bald Ridge country.
Mrs. Duncan moved from the Davenport area to Sprague for several years and then moved back to Davenport for her last two remaining years.
She was a member of Henrietta Chapter OES and former member of the Crab Creek Grange, both of Sprague.
She is survived by one son, Mervyn McClure of Davenport; three grandchildren, one great grandson, one brother, one stepson, numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were officiated by the Rev. John Martin at Strate Funeral Home. Interment was held at Mondovi Cemetery.
