Robert's obituary was found in the Virginian Pilot dated March 9, 1977 as follows:
"Norfolk Robert Harrison Nunnally , 79, of 6204 Granby Street, the husband of Mrs. Rena Estelle Nunnally and a Norfolk native, died Tuesday at 4:25 a.m. in a hospital.
He was retired marine engineer and a 50 year member of South Norfolk Masonic Lodge 339.
His widow is his only survivor.
Funeral be held Thursday 11 a.m. in Holloman Brown funeral home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by Dr. Paul B. Watlington Jr. of Park Place Baptist Church. Masonic service will follows general and a home. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park."
