Depression. She loved and adored her family. She liked to dress pretty and always insisted on wearing a hat. She enjoyed for her pastime canning, sewing and being a homemaker. Her church affiliation was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Baker is survived by 6 children: Carl Dean Pool of Whitewater, Colorado; Imogene Birchfield of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Audra Baker of Antlers, Oklahoma; Donnie Baker of the home in Atoka; and Windil Hilliard of Atoka; 1 sister: Dalphine Hardin of Atoka; 10 grandchildren; 11
great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephew and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents: Issac and Maltilda Cannon; her husband: Frank Lee Baker, and 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Funeral services were held Saturday, September 16, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. in the Mills and Coffey Chapel with Reverend Billy Joe Howard officiating. Burial was held at the Darwin Cemetery under the direction of Mills & Coffey Funeral Home of Antlers.
