Valeria Biddle Elliott, widow of the late General Washington Lafayette Elliott, died in this city last Sunday. The death of this lady calls to mind the services rendered the country by her husband, who died in San Francisco June 29, 1S88. He was one of the founders of the California Commandery of the Military Order of the Loyal Legion.
