SCURLOCK, GENEVA age 76, of Bessemer, AL, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Mrs. Scurlock was a member of New Hebron Baptist Church. "Maw Maw" was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion "Bud" Scurlock; her sons, Donnie and Larry Scurlock; her daughters, Linda Martin, Nellie Rogers, Shirley Womack and April Scurlock. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Paul) King and Sherry (Willie) Miller; thirteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and her brother, James Abernathy. Funeral services will be held at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with burial in Kimbrell Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
