Lou Emma Sutton Pogue 72, LaFontaine, died at 7:45 a.m. Thursday in the Wabash Hospital where she was admitted Tuesday evening. She had been ill nine months and death was caused by complication. Mrs. Pogue, a life time resident of Wabash County, was born June 24,1882 to Aaron and Margaret Scott Sutton. She Married Charles H. Pogue in LaFontaine October 20, 1923. He preceded her in death in 1944. She was a member of the LFontaine Christian Church and the Ashland Rebekah Lodge. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Emery William, LaFontaine, and Mrs. Don Lutz, Wabash; a stepson Lawrence Poge, LaFontaine, and one grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the LaFontaine Christian Church with the Rev. Willam Walter officiating. Burial will be in the LaFontiane IOOF Cemetery. The body is at the Brenneman Funeral Home where friends may call after 2 p.m.
