Funeral services for Mrs. Zelma Masters, 84, of Lake Palestine were held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 16, in the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Ben Dan Thompson and O.R. Perkins officiating.
Burial was in the Jarratt Cemetery near Turney.
Mrs. Masters died Wednesday, January 13, in a Frankston nursing home after an extended illness.
She was born April 28, 1908 in Lone Oak and lived most of her life in Jacksonville and the Gallatin area. She was a homemaker and a member of the Corinth Road Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughter and sons-in-laws, Mrs. Cozel and Miller Thompson of Jacksonville, and Mrs. Marjorie and Bill Lowry of Lake Palestine; a brother, John T. Barker of Seguin; a sister, Mrs. Cothell Fuller of San Antonio; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers included James Lowry, Billy Jack Lowry, Jerry Lowry, Rickey Thompson, Rusty Thompson and Kenneth Christopher.
