Max D. Martin, LaFontaine - Max D Martin 82, LaFontaine died Sunday in his home. He was born on August 30, 1912 to Albert and Josephine (Plew) Martin. He married Alene Sprinkle on June 27, 1935. He was retired and had owned and operated the Martin Elevator for many years. He was past master of the LaFontaine Masonic Lodge No. 295. He was a member of the LaFontaine Christian Church, Scottish Rite and Mizpah Shrine, Fort Wayne, and the R.O.J.
Surviving are a son Terry, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
