Additional information contributed by Tom Todd:

I gathered the following information from the book "The Sutton-Taylor Feud" by Chuck Parsons: Day, Elizabeth Jane Bennett-Rivers-Kelly-Hendricks (1836-1887), of her four husbands, two were killed in the feud. Born Elizabeth Jane Day in 1836, she had first married Joseph W. Bennett who died mysteriously on July 9, 1862. Her second husband, George W. Rivers, a musician in Company D, 5th Texas Cavalry, disappeared sometime after parole from a Union hospital. She then married William B Kelly but marital bliss eluded her William was killed with his brother by members of the Helm-Sutton party. On Sept 23, 1875, six months after his discharge, former McNelly Ranger A. R. Hendricks married Elizabeth Jane Kelly. Hendricks, A. R. (?-1875) then joined the Taylors. He was killed with Jim Taylor and Mason Arnold in Clinton. Elizabeth Hendricks survived the feud's violence. She died in 1887, although an exact date is unknown. She is buried beside her first husband in the Taylor-Bennett Cemetery near Cuero. Personal opinion of Tom Todd: She is probably buried with the Bennett name on her tombstone because she is buried next to her first husband. I think her name should be listed as: Hendricks, Elizabeth Jane Bennett-Rivers-Kelly and Day as her maiden name. Ironically her second husband is in the same cemetery.
