CROSS PLAINS — Zenovia Strickland, 85, died Thursday in a local nursing home. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Higginbotham Funeral Chapel with Charles Chesshir and Farrell Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Cross Plains Cemetery.
Mrs. Strickland was born in Cross Plains and was a retired secretary for West Texas Utilities. She was a member of the Chinch of Christ.
Survivors include one son Billy Dale Strickland of Glen Rose; one sister Billie Loving of Cross Plains; three grandchildren four great-grandchildren and one nephew.
