William (Billy) Shepherd, 70, of Holton died Saturday in the Holton hospital. He was born April 19, 1888, at Soldier, and was a lifelong resident of Jackson county. His home had been at Holton for the last 30 years. He leaves no immediate family but is survived by a number of nephews and nieces.
Services will be at 10 am Tuesday in the Mercer Funeral Home at Holton with burial in Soldier cemetery.
