KLEWIN - Emma D. Klewin, 92, 2313 N. Rockton Ave., died at 3:55 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 1985, in Amberwood HealthCare Centre, after a long illness. Born December 10, 1892 in Lynnn Township, daughter of Gustav and Wilhelmina Schroeder Klewin. Lived about 50 years in Rockford, coming from Rochelle. Employed as a school teacher in Rochelle and Rockford; after retiring from teaching, worked as a receptionist in a doctor's office. Member Second Congregational Church and teacher's education association. Graduated from DeKalb Teachers College. Survivors include; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Dickman and Mrs. Leonard (Estella) Bubser, both of Rockford, and Mrs. Wiley Owen, Rochelle; two brothers, Harold Klewin, Rochelle, and Les Klewin, Rockford; several nieces and nephews.

Private family graveside service Monday, May 6, in Lindenwood Cemetery, with Rev. Dean Dairymple officiating. Arrangements by Burpee-Wood Funeral Home, 420 N. Main St., in lieu of flowers, memorials to Second Congregational Church. 5-5-2
