Funeral services for T.H. Bell of Tyler were held Saturday at Burke-Walker-Tippet Chapel. Mr. Bell died Friday at his home after a five-weeks illness.
Dr. Porter M. Bailes officiated at the services and burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Born in Smith County, Mr. Bell was a retired café owner. He had been a member of the First Baptist Church for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, E.P. Bell of Carlsbad, New Mexico, and J.B. Bell of Austin; one daughter, Mrs. N.S. Velvin of Tyler; three brothers, Allen and J.M. Bell of Rochester, and J.W. Bell of Clovis, New Mexico; three sisters, Mrs. D.A. Tanner and Miss Ida Bell of Athens and Mrs. Sol Tanner of California.
