Jane Ellen Bell was the daughter of James and Caroline Bell. She married Martin Van Buren in Washington Co, AR, on January 08, 1855. They had five children, including one set of twins. They are: William Henry, James Calvin, Cynthia Caroline Melissa Frances, and twins Jesse Columbus Cisero Haliberta and Mary Matilda Elnerelisa Cordelia Emaline.

Jane died about 1961 during or after giving birth to the twins.
