Irene Miller dies Sunday

PICHER (Special) - Irene Sophia Miller, 72,
204 South Netta St. in Picher, died at 7:50
p.m. Sunday at Miami Baptist Hospital where
she had been a patient for nine days.

Born March 28, 1905, in Jefferson City, Mo.,
Mrs. Miller had lived in Picher for 20 years,
moving there from Zincville. She had
operated a grocery store in Zincville for
several years.

Mrs. Miller was a member of the Christian
church in Picher. She is survived by her
husband, Johnnie MIller of the home, two
sons, Jack Krokroskia, Viburnum, Mo., and
Fritz Krokroskia Henderson, Ark., five
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Tuesday 2 p.m.
Christian church in Picher with Rev. John
Seward officiating. Burial in will be in
G A R Cemetery in Miami under the direction
of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Paul Dobbs, Tommy
Thomas, R.L. Howard, Jesse Lee Madden,
Clifford Norman and Alford Maute.
