HERTZLER.-On the 14th of March, 1898, near Churchtown, Cumberland Co., Pa., Abraham Hertzler, aged 82 years, 9 months and 17 days. Bro. Hertzler was born in Lancaster Co., but moved to Cumberland Co., many years ago. He was a consistent member of the Mennonite Church, and did much to help build up the church. He lived to see most of his children and grandchildren unite with the church. He was buried in the Churchtown cemetery, followed by a very large concourse of people. Funeral was conducted by Isaac Eby and J. M. Herr. Herald of Truth, Vol. XXXV, No. 12, June 15, 1898 page 189.
