RITES SET FOR GEORGE SHEPARD

PINE RIVER - Funeral Services have been planned for George Lawrence Shepard, 80, od 123 H Street, Brainerd, who died Wednesday.

Services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at the Northland Funeral Home in Pine River. President Richard D. Howard officiating, with interment in the Blind Lake Cemetery.

Mr. Shepard was born June 18, 1890, in Arcola, Missouri, and was a resident of Pequot Lakes for 10 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Surviving are his wife, Ella, Brainer; sons, George of Hermantown, William od Wyoming, Minnesota; Edward of Crystal; daughters, Alta Mae Olson, Pequot Lakes, and Constance Hardin, Backus, a brother, Lesley, Barkus, a sister Blanche Brisset, LeCenter, Washington (??Minnesota); 15 grandchildren.
