Mrs. J. T. Holliday, of Jeffersonville Route 1, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. W. H. Arnold near Danville, at 8PM Monday. She had been in declining health for several months but was seriously ill for ten days.
Mrs. Holliday, the former Miss Mary Sauls, was a lifelong resident of Twiggs County, the daughter of Theopolus Sauls and Mrs. Martha Jane Floyd Sauls. She was a member of the Prospect Methodist Church.
Surviving are four sons, Bunyan T. Holliday of Macon, and John H. Holliday, Marion V. Holliday and Theodore D. Holliday, of Jeffersonville; five daughters, Mrs. W. P. Findlay, Macon, Mrs. H. M. Stevens and Mrs. W. H. Arnold, Fanville, and Mrs. M. H. Faulk and Mrs. George C. Faulk, Jeffersonville; 22 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Lula Jane Chnace, Danville.
Funeral services will be held at the Prospect Church at 11AM Wednesday with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Vernon Edwards and the Rev. H. M. Johnson will officiate.
