Bessie V. Crocker, 86, of North Zulch died Thursday December 18, 2003 at her home. She was born March 28, 1917 in North Zulch to parents: Ophelia (Mosley) and Daniel E. Vernon. She was married to Wesley F. Crocker on September 28, 1933. She loved the Lord "her salvation, sewing, gardening, and cooking. Her door was always open to anyone. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday December 21, 2003 at the Willow Hole Cemetery Chapel. Bro. Dwayne Mallett will officiate with burial following at the Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 – 8 pm Saturday evening at the J. M. Day Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Crocker is survived by: a son and his wife Danny and Ann Crocker, a daughter and her husband Betty and Jimmy Gray both of North Zulch, two grandsons and their wives Bill & Barbara Mosley, Wendell & Regina Mosley both of North Zulch, Grand daughters and their husbands: Carol Crocker Sisco and Russell of College Station, Sondra Gray Maddox and Sammy of North Zulch, 10 great grandchildren: Cody and Caitlyn Maddox, Holly and Abby Sisco, Karina, Charlie, and Clayton Cook, Breanne Mosley, E.J. Mendoza, and Tracey Crocker, numerous nieces , nephews, and Friends. She is preceded in death by: her husband: Wesley F. Crocker, 5 brothers: Everett, Frank, James, Lonnie, Elbert, 1 sister: Irene, a grandson: Wesley Allen Crocker, and a granddaughter: Cynthia Crocker Whitaker. Pallbearers will be her nephews: Jerry Stephens, Bobby Taylor, Cecil Crocker, Daniel Vernon, Ronnie Smith, Paul Smith, Lawrence Ray Vernon, and Don Vernon. (Madisonville Meteor)
