Andrew and Margret moved from Georgia to Douglas County, Missouri in 1869. Andrew farmed until 1884, then he went into the dry goods business in Rome, Mo.

Margret was an aristocratic woman who wore beautiful clothing and gold jewelry.
She used snuff and died of tongue cancer.

Mrs. A. R. Turner who has been suffering from a cancer of the tongue for some time died recently. The bereaved ones have the sympathy of the people of this community.
