JoAnn Bowman Fryman, 75 of Paris formerly of Cynthiana died Tuesday February 24, 2009.

She was born February 20, 1934 in Harrison Co., KY a daughter of the late Elmer and Addie Lemons Bowman.

Mrs. Fryman was a retired private duty nurse.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Fryman, former husband Thomas Barnes, Jr., sisters and brothers, Christine Bowman, Frank Bowman, Jake Bowman, Billy Bowman, Ella Mae Jenkins and Alleen Carpenter.

Survivors include her son Terry W. Barnes of Harrison Co., daughter Lisa Jo Clark of Lexington, sisters Fannie Wilder of Ft. Thomas, Marge Loomis of Norwwod, Ohio, and grandchildren Christina Pack, Pamela Summers, Brandon Summers, Thomas Summers and Terry W. Barnes, II.

Funeral services will be Noon Friday February 27, 2009 at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Jack Bowman.

Burial will follow the service in the Battle Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call after 10:00 AM Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Assoc.

Pallbearers: Shirl Loomis, Mike Loomis, Chris Pack, Allen Butcher, Richard Bowman, Dan Clary, Jim Nylor and Whit Whitaker.
