Born Carl Hjalmer Naslund. He immigrated to the US in 1913 from Sweden. Settled in the Apple River Wis, area and Married Nina Johnson and after losing one child to child birth they had a son Albin. Nina and the third child were lost in child birth. He then married Gertrude and had 4 children Glen, Gordon, Evelyn and John. Some where along the line the last name was changed to Neslund.
He was a farmer, and later worked for Polk County on the roads. He passed away of heart trouble.
