William Keisner, 84, of 1519 Irish Dr., Manitowoc, a retired tavernkeeper, died Saturday evening at Manitowoc Memorial Hospital.
Born Jan. 9, 1880 in the Town of Stockbridge, he was son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Max Kiesner.
His marriage to Miss Selma Bocher occurred Nov. 4, 1905 at Calumetville.
He operated taverns at various times in Calumetville, Brandt and Gravesville.
Survivors are two sons, Raymond Kiesner of Milwaukee and James of Manitowoc, three daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Maudette) Hiens and Mrs. Donald (Jessie) Sager, both of Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. Milton (Phyllis) Olp of Potter; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. William Grones of Manitowoc; and two brothers, Fred Kiesner of Chilton and Edwin of Racine.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church at Potter. The Rev. E. G. Greve, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Chilton.
Friends may call at the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral Home, Chilton, from 3 p.m. Tuesday until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of services.
