Former Resident Passes Away
A Memorial service will be held for Mrs. Maude Carlson Myers in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Myers passed away March 2nd at the home of her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Jaeger.
Maude Josephine Furtney was born in Minnetonka, Minnesota October 11, 1881 (1887). She spent her girlhood in Glenwood, Minnesota. She was married to John H. Carlson and they moved to Enderlin in 1908. Her husband, an engineer, was killed in a Soo Line train wreck in November, 1943. In 1946 she moved to White Bear Lake, Minnesota where she married Murrell Myers. The last 10 years she made her home with her daughter Marjorie.
She is survived by two sons Lloyd Carlson of Enderlin, John of Glendora, California and two daughters, Mrs. Cecil (Florence) Rarick of Enderlin; Mrs, Blaine (Marjorie) Jaeger of Chester Springs, PA. Four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Interment will be in Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota
