Rig Nightwatchman's Death Held Accident
RULE, June 30.--(Spl.)--John McBroom, 50, was accidentally killed Wednesday afternoon while cleaning an automatic pistol. The accident happened on the Pumphery ranch near Old Glory where McBroom was employed as night watchman at an oil rig. An inquest verdict of accidental death was rendered by County Attorney T. E. Knitht and County Judge Roy G. Anderson. McBroom had lived in and near Old Glory many years. He is survived by his wife, three sons and two daughters, his mother and several brothers and sisters, all of Old Glory. Funeral services will be held Thusday afternoon with burial in the Hooker cemetery.
