FERN BILBREY FUSSELL
Funeral services for Fern Bilbrey Fussell, 63, of Cookeville, who passed away Feb. 6, 1998 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, were held Feb. 8 from the First United Methodist Church in Cookeville. Burial was in the Cookeville City Cemetery.
She was born Oct. 21, 1934 in Putnam County, the daughter of Flossie Buckner Bilbrey and Ernest Bilbrey. Mrs. Fussell was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cookeville and owned and operated Munford Art and Frame Gallery. Mrs. Fussell was a world traveler.

Survivors include her husband, Ray Fussell of Cookeville; daughter, Julie Dayton of Knoxville; daughter and son-in-law, Jan Shingleton Arrick and Robert Arrick of San Francisco, CA; mother, Flossie Buckner Bilbrey of Cookeville; brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Sharon Bilbrey of Fayetteville, NC; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Jerry Brown of Crossville; and father-in-law, R.G. Fussell of Greenville, NC.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Geraldine Phillips, and her mother-in-law, Lila Mae Fussell. Pallbearers were Shannon Brown, Chris Vick, Kenny and Robin Fussell, Carlen Vickers, Ken Brown, Jim Viar and Bob Vick.

The Rev. Woodward Adams officiated.
Memorials may be made to the Cookeville Rescue Mission, 1331 S. Jefferson Ave., Cookeville, TN. Hooper and Huddleston Funeral Homes Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
