Rosie Lee Burris, 85 of Coweta, died Dec. 22, 1989 in St. Francis Hospital Tulsa, OK. Funeral was held Dec. 27 at Roberts Funeral Chapel with Bros Audie Vaughnn and Arron Barton of Westville officiating. Burial in Westville Cemetery.
She was born the daughter of William Henry and Maria (Wells) Rankin on Dec. 18, 1904 in Crawford County, AR. She was preceeded in death by her husband.
Mrs. Burris is survived by four sons, Eugene of Haskell, Washington, Paul of Blackwell, OK, Glenn of Wichita, KS, and Nolan of Kennewick, WA; four daughters, Velma Lee Malcom of Coweta, OK, Virginia Todd of Haskell, WA, Lavonne Tehee of Stilwell, OK and Annette Fields of Seattle, WA; one brother, Marvin Rankin of Gentry, AR; three sisters, Lillie Stevens of Coweta, OK Violet Moore of Ft. Smith, AR and Dora Horn of Gladewater, TX; 36 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
