Mrs. Pansy Alder - Mrs. Pansy Alder, 62, Sugar Tree, Tenn., a former Portage County resident, died Saturday in Sugar Tree.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Plainfield Baptist Church. The Rev. Mary Murray Sherman will officiate. Burial will be held in the Plainfield Cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday evening at the Goult-Patterson-Hardell Funeral Chapel, Plainfield.
Mrs. Alder was born Nov. 5, 1909, in the Town of Pine Grove, Portage County, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Nigh.
She lived in California from 1928-61 and since then in Sugar Tree. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald, in 1951.
Survivors include one son, Ronald, Sugar Tree; one grandson, three brothers, Emerson, Hancock, Helmus, Waupaca, and Emery, Arpin; two sisters, Mrs. Clifford (Effie) Banks, Plainfield and Mrs. Vila Mohr, 2041 Oak St."
